the cigar cork grip is very clean, with slight signs of use .. The reel seat is all cork with the characteristic Hardy aluminum slide band and pocket cap .. this Vintage Rod is a thing of beauty and function., use on your favorite stream or would be a favorite among your collection .. I would rate this rod as very good plus !
The rod packs in the original blue Hardy drawstring bag with the Vintage Hardy logo., although not in the original tube, it comes in a quality aluminum tube ..
