this bamboo fly rod was designed for steelhead., featuring hand-planed Tonkin cane, and a Dickerson 8615 taper. Priced at $550 for the standard two-tip model, this rod is built for power, handling larger flies, and fighting fish in water similar to its namesake in Eastern Oregon.

• Purpose: Specifically engineered for steelhead and larger rivers, with a medium-fast action suited for lifting line and handling larger fish.
• Craftsmanship: Hand-split and hand-planed six-sided Tonkin cane designed to act as a durable instrument.
• Components: Each rod includes a fitted fighting butt, a red agate stripping guide, hard chrome guides, burgundy thread wraps with a narrow black tip, and a knurled double-locking downlocking reel seat with a burled maple insert.
• Taper: Based on the legendary Dickerson 8615 taper.
• Included Accessories: Ships with a Cordura rod tube and a rod sock.
